Regrettably, due to unfavourable market conditions, we are discontinuing

Hi Traders,

Due to the range-bound nature of the market, we have taken few trades recently. We made +39pips on the EU/USD from a long held over from last tuesday, but lost -50pips on a GU/USD on a trade held over the FOMC release. This has left us in a small negative position in June.

The week ahead we have the Non-Farm Payrolls on a friday, and also the EU rate decision, which will stir up the market. We feel the $ will depreciate until then.

We took no trades today. We were anticipating a stronger CPI release from the Eurozone. YoY came out stronger, but we didnt feel comfortable going long prior, as the price already had 50pips movement in the price prior to release.

The rest of the session was muted, we look forward to tomorrow with the UK CPI release and German ZEW which should make a volatile UK session.

We took no trades today, due to the G8 weekend risk.  They finally came out with a message insisting on the concern over commodity prices, but nothing specifically currency related.

Hi Traders,

We went long Eur/usd prior to the US retail figs. These came out stronger than expected at 1.2% on the core Retail figure vs 0.7% expected. We were stopped out for a 23pip loss.

We later longed the Eur/usd later in the session at 1.5405, but despite moving up to 1.5445 it retraced back and hit our stop at break even.

Hi Traders,

We were on the sidelines for the majority of the day, as a lot of the pairs we trade were in the mddle of their ranges, and this is a rangebound market.

In the afternoon session, we closed out our ucad short for +38pips, as we felt a bounce was imminent as there wasnt a lot of follow through since yesterday. We'll look to sell this again when the price is right.

At the moment, the market is being lead by what is happening in oil. So we are watching this market closely.

Hi Traders,

In the UK Session,  we had Industrial Production out of the UK.  We sold GU prior to the data.  The data was better than expected, however, the trend at that time was for a down trending £.

We only netted 8pips on this trades as with post-news moves they are unpredictable.

In the afternoon session, The CAD bank didnt raise rates as expected. This was a big surprise.  We took the opportunity to sell UCAD at 1.0201, on the assumption of some profit-taking following the run up in this pair.

Hi Traders,

We went short on UCAD prior to the CAD employment report at 1.0200.  The report came in slightly negative to the CAD and we were stopped out at 1.0212.

We held are NZ short throughout the NFP report but unfortunately were stopped out at .7700.  Some traders held the trade who had wider stop losses, and it continues to do well.
So not a great day, we hope for better times next week.
